VANIKA "LADY V" LEWIS

Hello FAITHFriends!

I am so honored that you have taken the time to learn more about who I am.  Time is valuable and I appreciate yours, so lean in as I go deep and brief to give you a snap shot of who I am!

I am located in the sunny state of California, just south of Napa where I am affectionately know to many as Lady V. I have earned this endearing name serving along side my husband, Pastor Shamar Lewis, as we planted Fresh Start Church of Vallejo in 2016.

I was born and raised just north of San Francisco within a blended and biracial family; and if you have ever visited the Bay Area and experienced its diversity then that may come to you as no surprise. We are one of the major melting pots of the country.  As a child growing up in both a diverse community, and blended home, I learned early on how to interact with people from various cultures and walks of life. A skill that has and continues to serve me well today!

At the tender age of 14 years old, and just a freshman in high school, I became a teenage mother and began my journey into adulthood as a single parent. I had my second child at the age of 19, and it was then that I knew I needed to make changes in my life and began taking classes at a local community college which changed the projectory of my life. My personal testimony of overcoming the struggles of teen parenting drives my passion for loving on single mothers and pushing those that I encounter to live life to the fullest regardless of what obstacles they encounter. I also utilize this same passion to pour into women and encourage them to walk in their gifts and break down stereotypes that plague our communities.

I currenlty work within the HealthCare Industry overseeing the experience of both patients and team members. I have been doing this work for the last eleven years alongside Healthcare Executives and have gained invaluable knowledge around business marketing, imaging, customer satisfaction, team engagement and process flow.

Through my life’s journey I have grown thick skin, a soft heart and a pure love for seeing people at their absolute best!  In addition to my focuses on uplifting people I am also known for my keen eye behind the camera, my ability to create, design, produce and PUSH people into their purpose. I am truly an example of how FAITH, fashion, arts and passion collide.

I know that was a lot, but I told you I was going deep and brief! I’m glad you kept up, and I hope this has given a short glimpse into who I am.
